For start-up companies that may want to raise a modest amount of capital for business development, selling securities to investors can be very expensive because of the legal and accounting costs involved. To aid such companies in their capital raising efforts, we created Stockosaurus.
Mr. Fruscalzo brings to Stockosaurus a breadth of experience in banking, computer system security, and involvement in Canadian public companies. He worked with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce as Comptroller in its internal audit and financial reporting section from 1990 to 1995 after studying Economics at University of British Columbia. Mr. Fruscalzo also has experience and education in Computer Information Systems, and from 1997 to 2007 as a Technical Support Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst with the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch where he was responsible for designing, testing and implementing retail management software and networks, and for providing procedural and technical support. Additionally, Mr. Fruscalzo has 25 years of experience in capital markets as a director and officer of publicly listed companies in Canada and the United States. He obtained a CSC Certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute on September 1, 2003.
